Major Life Milestone

Hey guys! I have recently GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE!!!! Mississippi University

for Women is behind me! That's kind of sad, b/c it's been my home for the last 4 years! I know pride is not a good thing...but I am SO proud of myself! I didn't think it would ever happen!! Oh yeah, that's an empty diploma cover. No diploma at that time. But no worries, I got my diploma in the mail this week!

I don't really have anything new or exciting to share, but I have some projects that I want to do soon (*Note to self - this time don't forget what they are - think oval fabric covered bulletin board). I don't really know what to do with all this spare time now that it's summer. Of course, the whole "not-having-a-job-and-therefore-no-money" thing doesn't help. However, I've gotten really into poetry and quotes...so here goes one.

"To see a heaven in a grain of sand

and a heaven in a wildflower,

hold eternity in the palm of your hand,

It was one of the poems that my kids in Phase 2 of student teaching had to memorize. Love! Also...

Robert Frost for ya. Also one the kids had to memorize. There was something else I was going to share with the world, but for the life of me I can't remember what it was. In the meantime, TCH over at www.blogspot.com/acraftymunchkin took some family pics for us! They are awesome! Just a sampling.

They are amazing! She even got good ones of my dad and brother, who both hate having their pictures taken.
