Came across this today and just had to share it.

wasn't put there to stay -
Love isn't love
'Til you give it away."

Major Life Milestone
Hey guys! I have recently GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE!!!! Mississippi University

They are amazing! She even got good ones of my dad and brother, who both hate having their pictures taken.
for Women is behind me! That's kind of sad, b/c it's been my home for the last 4 years! I know pride is not a good thing...but I am SO proud of myself! I didn't think it would ever happen!! Oh yeah, that's an empty diploma cover. No diploma at that time. But no worries, I got my diploma in the mail this week!

I don't really have anything new or exciting to share, but I have some projects that I want to do soon (*Note to self - this time don't forget what they are - think oval fabric covered bulletin board). I don't really know what to do with all this spare time now that it's summer. Of course, the whole "not-having-a-job-and-therefore-no-money" thing doesn't help. However, I've gotten really into poetry and quotes...so here goes one.
"To see a heaven in a grain of sand
and a heaven in a wildflower,
hold eternity in the palm of your hand,
and infinity in an hour."
It was one of the poems that my kids in Phase 2 of student teaching had to memorize. Love! Also...
"Some say the world will end in fire
some say in ice
from what I've tasted of desire,
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if I had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate
to say that for destruction
ice is also great
and would suffice."
Robert Frost for ya. Also one the kids had to memorize. There was something else I was going to share with the world, but for the life of me I can't remember what it was. In the meantime, TCH over at www.blogspot.com/acraftymunchkin took some family pics for us! They are awesome! Just a sampling.

WE HAD A BABY!!!!!!!!!
I'M SO EXCITED!!!! MY BEST FRIEND HAD A BABY!!!!! SHE IS THE CUTEST THING IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!!!
Okay, I'll stop screaming at you now. Peyton Jewel came into this world at 6:45 on Feb. 10, 2010. She weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and was 20 inches long. She is literally...beautiful!! I am oh so completely wrapped around her teeny tiny finger. The proud momma is my best friend, whom I have known since I was about 6. We have been best friends for as long as I can remember. We have been waiting and waiting for Peyton to get here, but we weren't expecting her quite so soon. The due date was Feb. 27, but we knew she would never make it that long. We were expecting a C-Section either the 11th or 12th, but when K went in for her appointment on the 3rd, Peyton had flipped around so that she was breech, and her fluid levels were down to a 7 (they are supposed to be at 5-20), so they wanted to watch the situation carefully. They went back for another appointment on the 10th, and the doctor decided to go ahead and take the baby b/c she was still breech and her fluid levels were still low. So she was born at 6:45 and I got there about 7:30. I got to hold her when she was about 2 hours old. I got lots of pictures! They are coming home today, and I can't wait to get back over there to see them!! Pictures to follow directly!

I'm Gonna Try Again
Hey Everybody! I'm no good at keeping this thing up to date! I'm going to try again to start keeping it up. My camera is still broken, so I still can't add pictures or anything. Mom and I went to pick up the picture frames that she had made for our graduation pictures, and the woman that did them is soooo crafty! And I found a new favorite blog today: http://shanty2chic.blogspot.com/
She is awesome as well! And there's always my good friend Tiffany at http://craftymunchkin.blogspot.com/ who can always awe me with the things she does. I have a few ideas for some fun new projects, not that I have time. Student teaching takes all of my time. I'm loving it though! I've spent the last 2 weeks in 7th and 8th grade history and I love it! I was terrified when I found out that I was going to be in middle school, because I absolutely did not want to teach it (heard too many horror stories) but now I definitely want to teach that age, and I dread having to leave and go to my lower placement. But at least I still have 5 more weeks with them. There are some that just absolutely pull on my heartstrings though. Love them! I'm going to try to get a new camera soon and I will post more pictures hopefully.
My family is also getting pictures taken as soon as Tiffany gets better (her kindergarteners got her sick) so we will have those posted soon hopefully. I guess that's it for now!
